Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Fire Hero Technical Services LLC (“Fire Hero”, “we”, “us”), a fire safety contractor based in the United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and other applicable UAE laws.

We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

• Enquiry details: your name, phone number, and optionally your email, company or building name, emirate, the service you’re interested in and any message you write in our contact form.
• Communications: calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, photos, drawings and documents you send us about your building or project.
• Job applications: your CV, contact details and any information you choose to include when you apply for a role.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is used to deliver and secure the site.

We don’t ask for sensitive personal data through this website, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and arrange site surveys.
• To deliver, schedule and invoice the installation, maintenance and emergency work you ask us to carry out.
• To prepare compliance reports and records required by UAE Civil Defence and other authorities.
• To consider your job application.
• To keep the website running, secure and free from abuse.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process your data because you asked us to (to take steps before or under a contract), because we have a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share personal data only where needed, with:

• Service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our website host and our email delivery provider (Resend), which sends contact-form enquiries to our inbox.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Messages sent that way are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• Authorities such as UAE Civil Defence, where project approvals, inspections or the law require it.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data receives an adequate level of protection, as required by the PDPL.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores one small item in your browser’s session storage so the intro animation only plays once per visit; it’s deleted when you close the tab.

Some pages load content from third parties: photographs from Unsplash, and an embedded Google Map on our contact page. These services may receive your IP address and, in Google’s case, set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.

We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as we have a relationship with you and afterwards for as long as UAE law requires for commercial, tax and fire safety records. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you join the team. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries and customer records is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending us passwords, payment card details or other highly sensitive information by email or WhatsApp.

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data, or restrict or stop how we use it;
• withdraw your consent where we rely on it;
• ask for your data to be transferred to another organisation.

To exercise any of these, email info@thefirehero.com. We may need to verify your identity first and will respond within the time the law allows. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top showing when it last changed.
